Employer Information

Enroll as a Participating Employer in the Plan:

Any church that is a part of the BGC Canada association of churches may enroll in the plan. A church wishing to enroll as an employer in the pension plan will need to fill out two copies of the Employer Application Form for Pension and one copy of the Waiting Period Form.

On the application form, please note:

  • That the participating employer should be, “BGC Canada & [Church Name]”.

  • The Member Contribution Rate is 0% and the Participating Employer Contribution Rate is 100%. This does not mean that the employee cannot make contributions in addition to the employer, but that the employer must contribute 100% of the contribution percentages set by the CCCC. — In total three signatures are needed on the top portion of page three.

Upon completion, please mail two original, signed copies of the Employer Application and one Waiting period form to BGC Canada.  These forms can also be found on the Forms page in the Pension Plan section of the website. A record will be made in the office, and the application will be forwarded to the CCCC for approval.

 

Pre-Authorized Payment


As an option to BGC churches enrolled in the Pension Plan, churches may sign up for pre-authorized, automatic, monthly withdrawals as a preferred method of payment. This may be done at the time of employer application or at any time while enrolled by filling out the Pre-Authorized Chequing Agreement Form for Pension. Billing and payment is administered directly by BGC Canada.
