Making a Claim
All extended health claims should be processed through Green Shield Canada. Items such as prescription drugs are usually processed through direct payment by showing your Green Shield Identification Card. Other health claims not processed by a few different methods.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available as a part of your insurance coverage. The EAP is a confidential support service that can help you solve all kinds of problems and challenges in your life. You and your immediate family members (as defined in your employee benefit plan) can receive support over the phone, in person, online, and through a variety of issue-based health and wellness resources. For each concern you are experiencing, you can receive a series of sessions.
